Apple Barn 2011

 Every year since Connor has been born, we’ve taken him to the Apple Barn in nearby Chatham for a little taste of fall…and, I admit, to get some cute pictures :)

The first year, he was only about 3 weeks old, so we bundled him up and propped him up against the pumpkins for pictures while he snoozed :) Last year, he was the perfect age and sat cooperatively amongst the scenery….this year, he was running from pumpkin to pumpkin, but we still got some cute ones!

He kept wanting to sit on all of the pumpkins!

And he was SO excited to pick out his own pumpkin. We have a book called “Duck and Goose Find a Pumpkin” that he absolutely loves, so when he saw pumpkins everywhere after we pulled up, he was thrilled.

Besides letting Connor pick out his own little pumpkin, we also indulged in a couple of apple cider slushies and a pumpkin whoopie pie…and we got a gallon of apple cider to go -  DELICIOUS!! I think I could have eaten 5 of those pumpkin treats :)
